Nouaison Gin

Now that winter has finally come to an end, I’ve got my mind on spring spirits. Crisp, complex, and well-suited for mixing in classic cocktails, this small-batch gin out of Cognac, France, is at the top of my list. G’Vines “Nouaison” Gin, meaning “setting,” is distilled using grapes specifically chosen for distillation and blended with 14 botanicals, including bergamot, prune, Java pepper, and vetiver. The result is balanced and herbal on the nose, with elements of citrus and spice on the palate. The zesty finish, with notes of tree bark, makes this elegant bottle a no-brainer addition to your bar cart. —Erin Alexander, Contributor
